How to Accept Followers When the "Flag for Review" Feature Wasn't Disabled Before Ordering ?

In August 2024, Instagram introduced a new feature called "Flag for Review," which is enabled by default on all accounts. This feature filters new followers into a special flagged queue if their profiles don’t meet certain criteria, such as location or relevance to the account's content. If this feature wasn’t disabled before placing an order for followers, they will need to be manually accepted one by one.

In this article, we’ll explain step by step how to accept your followers manually from the flagged queue.

Step-by-Step Guide to Accept Followers in the "Flagged" Tab

Step 1: Access Your Instagram Profile

  • Open the Instagram app and log into your account.
  • Once on your profile, click on your number of followers displayed near the top of your page.

Step 2: Open the "Flagged" Tab

  • After clicking on your number of followers, you’ll be redirected to a page with several options.
  • In the top-right corner of this page, you’ll find a tab called "Flagged." Click on this tab.

⚠️ Important: Do not confuse the "Flagged" tab with the "Flag for Review" category.

  • The "Flag for Review" category contains followers that have already been accepted onto your profile but are flagged for potential removal. Instagram places them here to allow you to delete them in bulk if they don’t match your account's niche, location, or content.
  • The "Flagged" tab, however, is where pending follow requests are located, and you need to manually accept them.

Step 3: Understand the Limit of Displayed Requests

  • Inside the "Flagged" tab, Instagram only displays 200 follow requests at a time.
  • However, this doesn’t mean you only have 200 requests. For example, if you ordered 1,000 followers, they will all appear progressively as you accept the ones displayed.
  • Once you’ve accepted the initial 200 requests, more requests will automatically appear in the tab.

Step 4: Manually Accept the Followers

  • In the "Flagged" tab, you’ll need to click "Accept" for each follower individually.
  • Unfortunately, Instagram does not currently provide a "Select All" or bulk acceptance option, so this process must be done one by one.

Key Points to Remember

  • Disable Before Ordering: To avoid this process, it’s recommended to disable the "Flag for Review" feature before placing an order for followers. Disabling it afterward will only result in a partial delivery of followers.
  • Manual Acceptance Required: Instagram does not yet offer a bulk approval feature, so each request must be accepted manually.
  • Handling Large Orders: Even though Instagram displays a maximum of 200 requests at a time, all the followers you ordered will still be in the queue and must be accepted manually.

Conclusion

Manually accepting followers from the "Flagged" tab can be time-consuming, but it’s the only solution if the "Flag for Review" feature wasn’t disabled before ordering. By following the steps in this guide, you can ensure that all your ordered followers are added to your account.

To prevent this issue in the future, remember to disable the "Flag for Review" feature before placing an order.
